ABOUT THE ARTISTS
The Bunny The Bear
Few band names hit the conceptual nail on the head like The Bunny The Bear, a synth-heavy rock band from Buffalo, New York fronted by two guys wearing bunny and bear masks. Formed in 2008 by vocalist/songwriter Matthew “The Bunny” Tybor (and joined in 2015 by Jacob “The Bear” Reeves), the band has released a total of 8 full length albums, 5 of via the well known, now defunct, Independent Label Victory Records. They are known for their eclectic style of post-hardcore, taking influence from a variety of rock, pop and electronic subgenres, creating something unique and mesmerizing in the process.
Manhattan Blockade
Manhattan Blockade is an Iowa band with post-hardcore and pop-punk influences. After a run that included performing with ERRA, blessthefall, Volumes, Upon A Burning Body, and even on Warped Tour in 2018. After COVID-19, Manhattan Blockade spent a year writing, and they’ve returned with a self-titled full-length album and a Punk Goes Pop style cover of Juice WLRD & Marshmello’s “Come & Go” with production from Sam Nelson (Five AM) and Aaron Isaacson.
KEEP IL
Prairie State Hardcore from Springfield, Illinois.
Braver Than I
Braver Than I is a 6 piece metalcore act out of the Quad Cities, with Logan DeShane and Jay Hoerner on vocals, Eric Meier and Zach Anderson on guitars, and rhythm section of Will Myers on bass and Skyler Coons on drums. They bring the punk and hardcore roots that grow out of this area into a modern metal sound.
